Julie is a Strengths Champion, Performance and Career Coach focusing on the following areas: career advancement, career switch, stress management and team relationships. She enjoys seeing possibilities and a-ha moments unfold with her clients as they explore professional and even life issues together. Additionally, Julie mentors coaches on their journey to obtain or renew their coaching credentials.

Having worked for more than two decades in the marketing communications profession across industries, types of organisations and economic situations, Julie understands and empathises with her clients on the challenges they face. Having worked in and managed teams, she is familiar with the benefits of understanding team roles, leveraging on the strengths of team members and the importance of helping teams understand and appreciate each other.

Clients and friends say she is warm, approachable, authentic, and professional and comes to a coaching session with a curious and non-judgmental mind.

Julie is a Master Solution Focused Practitioner accredited by the International Alliance of Solution Focused Teaching Institutes, a Strengths Champion Certified Coach, and a certified Mentor Coach with Solutions Academy in Germany. She is also a certified Advanced Behavioral Consultant and Career Coach with the Institution of Motivational Living in the USA. She is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by the International Coaching Federation and a Standard Mental Health First Aider.

Julie has completed Workforce Singapore’s Career Facilitation Programme and the Certification for Employment Intermediaries (Local). Additionally, she is a Standard Mental Health First Aider.

Besides the coaching certifications mentioned, Julie holds an MBA in Strategic Marketing from the University of Hull, UK, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the National University of Singapore. She also has the Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment (ACTA) from the Institute for Adult Learning Singapore.

Julie volunteers her time towards community outreaches and coaching. She served on the Board of the International Coaching Federation Singapore Chapter as its Director of Membership and Assistant Treasurer. She is a coach with The Humanitarian Coaching Network and Shoolini University of Biotechnology and Management Sciences. She was part of the team that contributed to the ICF Singapore Chapter winning the ICF 2023 Chapter Excellence award. She contributed to the ICW Coast to Coast Coaching Challenge for 2024 dedicating about 15 hours of pro bono coaching during International Coaching Week 2024. Julie was invited to be an Industry Assessor by Nanyang Polytechnic School of Business Management for their International Business Strategy module.
